Darren has been in prison since he was 17 years old. FFUP came into his life about 4 years ago. He was in solitary confinement, needing and being denied hearing aides,getting into trouble and suffering inhumane treatment because of his confusion and mental illness and the system's intolerance and brutality. We will put some of his story here. He has recently lost a bid for freedom and looks for meaning and joy. Right now his refuge is his painting.
